Myntra launches ‘Beauty Edit’ for its Rising Stars Program, to onboard 500 brands this year

Multi-brand fashion and beauty platform Myntra has launched a ‘Beauty Edit’ for its Rising Stars program, designed to foster growth amongst digital-first beauty labels. The business plans to onboard 500 beauty and grooming brands to the program this year.

“Furthering our commitment to nurture digital-first D2C [direct to customer] brands and drive innovation in the beauty and personal care ecosystem, we are thrilled to launch the Myntra Rising Stars Beauty Edit with the aim to provide specific beauty and grooming solutions,” said Myntra’s chief business officer Sharon Pais in a press release. “Given India’s rapidly evolving beauty and personal care landscape, it’s imperative for brands to reach the right audience and have a meaningful association in a focussed manner. Our dedicated efforts in the BPC space and high resonance with informed shoppers, and their appreciation for nuanced offerings will further add value to these brands, helping them scale and reach discerning customers effectively.” 
 
Myntra’s Rising Stars program has already supported a wide range of fashion brands including Snitch, Rare Rabbit, The Bear House, Bewakoof, Janasya, Bliss Club, UpTownie, Giva, and Neemans among others. Some of these labels have reported a twofold year-on-year increase in demand since joining the program.
 
The business has invited beauty brands which are interested in joining the program to reach out via email. Some of the beauty categories Myntra is looking to focus on include science and ingredient-based products, vegan and natural products, and Korean beauty among others.
 
Brands which participate in Myntra’s Rising Stars program receive access to a range of resources designed to drive growth. These include dedicated account management, optimised cost structures, and enhanced visibility.
