Fashion e-commerce major Myntra gained over 1.5 million new customers and attracted 390 million customer visits during its recently concluded festive sale event, Big Fashion Festival (BFF).
More than 80 percent of the new customers that shopped during the sale event were from non-metro cities.
Key categories such as beauty personal care, watches wearables, and home furnishings experienced 1.5 times the growth in demand compared to the last BFF.
Commenting on the sale event, Neha Wali, senior director revenue and growth at Myntra in a statement said, “This BFF, shoppers from all over the country thronged the Myntra platform to leverage the value-driven offers for buying millions of products across fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. The three-fold value constructs were a major pull for customers which made shopping even more rewarding.”
Myntra had expanded its offerings to 9,700 brands for this BFF event, adding 3,700 new brands compared to the previous edition to cater to the festive demand.
Myntra claimed that its last-mile delivery network including Kirana partners had delivered 75 percent of the orders by the end of the event.
