Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd net loss for the April-June quarter widened to Rs 13 crore ($1.5 million), as against Rs 12 crore in the year-ago quarter.
The company’s revenue for the quarter decline by 9 percent to Rs 126 crore, as against Rs 139 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
During the April-June quarter, the company opened six company-owned company-operated stores and 5 franchise stores.
“The company is aggressively committed to opening 45-50 exclusive brand outlets pan India including West & South. Our online sales have picked up, particularly from our own website sales,” Monte Carlo said in its investor presentation.
“Home textiles will continue to show good growth rate. Our brand Rock It has performed well during the quarter and has been widely accepted by the market,” it added.
Monte Carlo sells its products pan India presence through a wide network of EBO’s, MBO’s, national chain stores and major e-commerce platforms.
