Monrow Shoes wins PETA India’s award for ‘Best Vegan Women’s Footwear’

Direct to customer women’s footwear brand Monrow Shoes has been awarded the title of ‘Best Vegan Women’s Footwear’ for 2024 by animal rights organisation PETA India to recognise its contribution to cruelty free fashion.

“We are honoured to be recognised by PETA India for our efforts in creating footwear that not only makes a fashion statement but also aligns with our values of compassion and sustainability,” said Monrow Shoes’ founder and CEO Veena Ashiya in a press release. “Our team works tirelessly to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and ethical production, and this award is a proud moment for everyone at Monrow. This recognition is a huge motivator for us as we aim to experiment with innovative materials and introduce natural fibres like pineapple, banana, and sugarcane.”
 
Monrow Shoes was awarded its title at the recent PETA India’s 2024 Vegan Fashion Awards which celebrated vegan desi brands across the fashion spectrum. The event served to highlight the growing demand for animal-free fashion both in India and beyond.
