Mokobara opens 28th India store in New Delhi

Travel and lifestyle brand Mokobara has strengthened its retail presence in North India with the launch of a new store in Delhi NCR’s Connaught Place. Situated at Inner Circle, the outlet marks the brand’s sixth store in the capital region and its 28th pan-India.

Mokobara’s head of business development, Ayushi Yadav, announced the opening on LinkedIn, sharing images of the new location. “This iconic store is our sixth store in Delhi-NCR and 28th store pan-India,” Yadav wrote, highlighting the brand’s continued expansion in the region.

The retailer entered North India’s brick-and-mortar retail market in December 2023 with a store at MGF Metropolitan Mall, Gurugram. The label has since expanded to NCR locations including Khan Market, Lajpat Nagar, Vasant Vihar, and DLF Cyber City, India Retailing reported.

Mokobara was founded in 2020 by Sangeet Agarwal and Navin Parwal as a direct to consumer online luggage brand. The Bengaluru-based company offers a range of travel and lifestyle products, including suitcases, briefcases, totes, slings, wallets, and accessories.

The business expanded into brick-and-mortar retail in May 2023, opening its first store at Phoenix Marketcity in Whitefield, Bengaluru. Since then, it has built a presence in cities including Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Amritsar, and Pune. Alongside its physical stores, Mokobara retails through its own e-commerce platform and multi-brand marketplaces such as Flipkart, Myntra, Amazon, and Nykaa.
