“With Mila Beaute, we aim to create an affordable luxury brand that is accessible to the average Indian middle-class consumer,” said Mila Beaute founding member and former Swiss Beauty CEO Saahil Nayar, India Retailing reported. “Our target is to grow our consumer base to one million within a year span.”

Mila Beaute currently retails its beauty products at more than 10,000 multi-brand makeup counters across India. By the end of the 2025 financial year, the brand aims go double this presence to 20,000 makeup counters.

Mila Beaute is a rebranded version of New Delhi based cosmetics business Milap Cosmetics which was founded by Ravi Chadha in 1985. The brand founder’s sons are now directors of Mia Beaute and are leveraging the network they built with Milap Cosmetics to swiftly grow Mila Beaute.

The brand also launched its refreshed e-commerce store last month and plans to roll out its products across a range of multi-brand e-commerce platforms to reach more customers. Four fifths of Mila Beaute’s sales are currently coming from offline channels but the business is keen to increase the contribution of online sales to its overall revenue.
