“Utopia emerged from a desire to capture the boundless energy and optimism of summer days,” said MellowDrama’s designer Aaina Mahajan in a press release. “I wanted to create pieces that felt like wearable expressions of sunlit joy. Inspired by the dancing interplay of light and colour, this collection combines our signature hand-craftsmanship with a fearless approach to vivid hues, bold patterns and unique textural elements to craft a multi-dimensional experience that is both vintage-inspired and utterly modern.”

The collection has a bold colour palette of red, white, and navy blue and features western and fusion style garments such as mini skirts with oversized bows, button down shirts, and matching sets. The collection has launched in the brand’s flagship stores and on its direct to customer e-commerce store.

“The collection pays homage to the vibrance of summer, this collection is a gateway into a world where reservation is a thing of the past and flamboyant palettes reign supreme,” said Mahajan. “Utopia embraces hand-stitched contemporary craft and patterned illusions to add another dimension to our trademark style.”
