Women’s ethnic wear brand Meena Bazaar has formed a partnership with AI powered intelligence business Sociometrik and real estate business Agprop to harness and integrate AI for growth.
“This collaboration is all about AI-driven retail expansion, combining decades of legacy with cutting-edge technology and data science to scale like never before,” wrote Agprop’s founder Shivek Aggarwal about the tie-up on social media. “From smarter store locations to enhanced customer insights, this partnership is the blueprint for the next era of retail growth.”
The partnership is designed to give Meena Bazaar the tools to accomplish data-driven site selection by using heat maps across cities to offer socioeconomic and demographic insights. This data will identify the most promising retail clusters and forecast revenue totals by using machine learning, India Retailing reported.
Suresh and Vishnu Manglani launched Meena Bazaar in 1970 to offer a range of ready to wear in traditional styles. The brand today counts over 70 brick-and-mortar stores in India and the US. Keen to continue its offline retail expansion to connect with new customer demographics, Meena Bazaar aims to reach an exclusive brand outlet total of over 250 by 2025, according to the brand’s website.
