Beauty and personal care brand Mamaearth has introduced a regional approach to its products and launched the ‘Kerala Thaali Hair Care Range’. The new product line is designed to resonate with the diverse cultural fabric of India and signify a new approach for the label.
“We are thrilled to introduce the Kerala Thali Hair Care Range, a product that is close to our hearts and deeply rooted in the cultural heritage of Kerala,” said Honasa Consumer Limited’s co-founder and chief innovation officer Ghazal Alagh in a press release. “In India, each state has its own unique traditions and natural resources, much like the countries across the world. We felt it was essential to approach our states with the same respect and understanding.”
The Kerala Thali Hair Care Range is designed to offer a holistic hair care experience using natural produce popular in the state of Kerala including hibiscus, shikakai, and amla. The collection will launch nationwide across all online platforms and run specific promotional activities across Kerala and South India where demand is expected to be high.
“This launch is not just about a product; it’s about celebrating the diversity of our country and the richness it brings to our lives,” said Alagh. “We are committed to continuing this journey of regional innovation and bringing the best of nature and culture to our consumers.”
Entrepreneurial husband and wife team Ghazal Alagh and Varun Alagh founded Mamaearth six years ago with the aim of blending science and nature. Today, the brand has a portfolio of over 200 products and has served over five million customers.
