Lulu Group to launch mall in Kottayam next month

Multi-national conglomerate and mall operator Lulu Group will launch a new mall in Kottayam spanning 2.5 lakh square feet. The launch of the new ‘mini mall’ in Manipuzha will bring Lulu Group’s Kerala mall total to five.

“The ultimate shopping paradise is getting ready to open its doors in Kottayam,” announced Lulu Mall Kottayam on its new Facebook page. “Offering you everything from fashion, electronics, and home essentials to groceries, fresh produce, and delicious food- all under one roof. See you soon!”
 
The mall will be located by the city’s M C Road and is slated to open its doors to the public in mid-December, India Retailing reported. Spread over two storeys, the mall will house a Lulu Hypermarket measuring 1.4 lakh square feet. Lulu Hypermarkets retail everything from clothing and personal care goods to groceries and are one of Lulu Group’s flagship retail enterprises.
 
The business aims to position its Lulu Hypermarkets as the cornerstone of its mini mall retail concept. The mall will also feature over 20 Indian and international brands such as Celio, Swa Diamonds, Mamaearth, and Van Heusen among others.
 
“Lulu Mall will open its doors to the people of Kottayam in December,” said Lulu Group India’s director of shopping malls Shibu Philips, India Retailing reported. “It is a part of Lulu Group’s mini malls expansion plan across Kerala’s Tier 3 markets.”
