Lulu Group to launch Lulu Mall in Kozhikode, Kerala

Lulu Group is gearing up to launch its seventh mall in India to date in Kozhikode, Kerala and bolster its retail presence in South India. Located in the city’s Manakavu neighbourhood, the mall will house Indian and international fashion and lifestyle brands and entertainment facilities.

“We are excited to announce that all brands are now on board at LuLu Mall Kozhikode,” announced Lulu Malls India on Linkedin. “Fit-outs are progressing swiftly, and will be launching soon… Stay tuned for the grand opening and experience unparalleled shopping at LuLu Mall Kozhikode.”
The mall measures more than 3.5 lakh square feet, spread across three floors. Along with a wide array of fashion and lifestyle labels from India and abroad, the mall will also feature a 400-seat food court with 16 vendors and an entertainment zone for children.
 
Lulu Group’s large scale store concept Lulu Hypermarket will launch a 1.5 lakh square foot store within the mall. Many of Lulu Group’s malls include a Lulu Hypermarket which retails a broad selection of fast moving consumer goods including beauty and personal care items.
 
Abu Dhabi headquartered business Lulu Group already runs malls in the Indian cities of Lucknow, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Bengaluru, Palakkad, and Hyderabad, according to its website. The business was founded by Kerala-born entrepreneur M A Yusuff Ali in the year 2000.
