L’Oréal breaks a world record in Bengaluru at latest hair launch

L’Oréal Paris has set a Guinness World Record for the ‘Most People Untying Their Hair Simultaneously,’ as over 500 women participated in its interactive event in Bengaluru. The event marked the launch of L’Oréal Paris’ new Hyaluron Pure Shampoo and Conditioner range and was designed to reinforce the brand’s commitment to hair health and self-expression.

The initiative was part of L’Oréal Paris’ ‘Free Your Hair’ campaign, designed to empower women to embrace their hair without compromise, the brand announced in a press release. The brand termed the record-breaking moment a symbolic act of liberation and it took the opportunity to highlight the importance of scalp health and the need for effective hair care solutions.

“The first step to maintaining hair health is recognising common scalp concerns like excess oil and dandruff, which impact 50% of adults at some point in their lives,” said L’Oréal Paris India’s general manager Dario Zizzi in a press release. “With Hyaluron Pure, we are redefining what it means to have healthy, hydrated hair. This Guinness World Record attempt is a testament to the confidence and empowerment our range brings to women everywhere.”

L’Oréal Paris’ Hyaluron Pure range is formulated with Salicylic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid to cleanse excess oil from the scalp while providing 72-hour hydration. Targeting women aged 18 to 45, the launch focuses on addressing the dual concerns of oily scalps and dry ends.

With its record-breaking initiative, L’Oréal Paris aims to strengthen its position in the Indian beauty industry. The brand retails in India with an omni-channel approach the L’Oréal India brand was established in 1994, according to the business’ website.
