Women’s western wear brand Latin Quarters has partnered with Bengali actress Monami Ghosh to launch its festive collection ‘Pujo Bling’. Ghosh debuted the line at an event in Kolkata and modelled a sequinned slip dress from the collection.
“As we dive headfirst into the dazzling fervour of Pujo, we are proud to introduce a collection where glamour meets festivities,” said Latin Quarters’ director and co-founder Saurabh Jhingan in a press release. “Our Pujo Bling Collection is a symphony of style, carefully curated to resonate with the spirit of celebration. We focused on stitching together styles that express joy and elegance whilst being a true reflection of the rich cultural tapestry that Durga Puja represents… We are thrilled to launch our ‘Bling Edit’ with Monami Ghosh since Monami is the ‘Bling Queen’ of Kolkata and Latin Quarters is known for its Bling range – it is truly a perfect match!”
The collection tailors global party wear trends to Indian tastes and features lashings of sparkle. Latin Quarters, which has a retail presence in over 400 locations across India, debuted its new collection at a dedicated segment on the third floor of its Latin Quarters store in Kolkata’s South City Mall. The collection subsequently launched in Pantaloons, Shoppers Stop, and Lifestyle stores as well as online.
