Footwear brand Kneetoes plans to expand into international markets in 2025 to reach new customer demographics. The brand plans to open its first franchise store this year while also bolstering its online presence.
“We’re on track to hit Rs 6 crores this year. In terms of expansion, our main focus is launching our first franchise store this year,” Kneetoes’ brand co-founder Shahyan Khan told India Retailing in an interview. “We’ve also received inquiries from international markets, including Qatar and Bahrain, which we are exploring. We’re investing heavily in our online store, having revamped the website, and we’re focusing on growing our online presence as well. We’re planning to explore international expansion more seriously in 2025. Specifically, we’re working on launching a flagship store in the US by January next year, focusing on our men’s range.”
Kneetoes aims to retail its footwear at around 20% cheaper compared to its competitors, according to the label. Online, Kneetoes retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store and on multi-brand platforms including Flipkart, Ajio, and Amazon India.
Kneetoes was established in 2010 and Shujat Khan and Shahyan Khan acquired the label in 2018. The entrepreneurs aim to harness the brand to make an impression on India’s footwear market.
