John Jacobs partners with Sonam Bajwa for eyewear collection

Eyewear brand John Jacobs has joined forces with actress Sonam Bajwa to launch a line of sunglasses. The collaborative collection features bold frames in retro style hues.

“We’ve enjoyed envisioning a sleeker tomorrow with Sonam,” said John Jacobs’ CEO and creative director Apeksha Gupta in a press release. “Her natural charisma and eye for style is what makes her click as the face of our latest campaign. Featuring bold, statement sunglasses with futuristic lines and dominant details, this cellulose acetate collection glances at the future of eyewear with a fashion-forward POV.”
 
The collection features sunglasses with exaggerated, oversized frames in retro hues of magenta, violet, and matte grey as well as tortoise shell and deep black. The statement frames have been designed to be the main focus of the wearer’s outfit and mix versatility with avant-garde aesthetics, according to the brand. 

“My collaboration with John Jacobs holds a very special place in my heart, as it echoes the very essence of who I am and the values I hold dear,” said Sonam Bajwa about the collection. “This collection speaks to a fierce, forward-thinking perspective of someone who is unafraid to take a stand. Through this partnership, I hope to channel this electric energy and inspire every woman to stride confidently into the future.”
 
John Jacobs aims to use its eyewear designs as a vehicle for self-expression and retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store and with eyewear giant Lenskart. The brand works with partners including Mazzucchelli from Italy, Rodenstock from Germany, and Tokai Lutina from Japan to create its frames.
