Global luxury brand Jimmy Choo has launched an exclusive capsule collection of footwear and handbags in celebration of the festival of Diwali. Now available across select global flagship stores and online, the capsule collection is designed to reflect the joy and light of the festival.

“Inspired by the rich heritage and traditions of Diwali, the capsule offers glamorous pieces crafted with exceptional attention to detail,” announced the brand in a press release. “Each timelessly elegant piece in this considered capsule is guaranteed to make a statement at festive gatherings and beyond.”

The collection features signature Jimmy Choo footwear silhouettes including ‘Drop Heel,’ ‘Ixia,’ and ‘Amel’ pumps as well as bold styles named ‘Bing,’ ‘Love,’ and ‘Romy.’ These occasion style heels are complimented by ‘Bon Bon,’ ‘Diamond Cocktail,’ and ‘Sweetie’ handbags, designed for Diwali festivities and beyond.

In May this year, Jimmy Choo named princess Gauravi Kumari as its new brand ambassador for the Indian market, further deepening the brand’s ties to the country. The appointment also more solidly established entrepreneur Kumari’s connection to the world of fashion as she continues to run the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation store.

Jimmy Choo retails in India through five flagship stores, located across Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Bengaluru, according to the brand’s website. Since opening its first India store in Mumbai in 2007, Jimmy Choo has steadily expanded its brick-and-mortar presence in the country. Established in 1996, Jimmy Choo is part of the Capri Holdings Limited global fashion luxury group which is publicly listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker CPRI.
