Jewelbox expands South India presence with Bengaluru store launch

Lab grown diamond jewellery brand Jewelbox has expanded its South India retail presence and launched an exclusive brand outlet in Bengaluru’s Jayanagar neighbourhood in response to strong consumer demand in the metro. 

“Bangalore has always been a key market for us, given the overwhelming response to our online store from the city,” said Jewelbox’s co-founder Vidita Kochar Jain in a press release. “Our expansion here is a strategic move to meet the growing demand for sustainable, high-quality, and innovative jewelry. With our new Jayanagar store, we aim to bring a seamless offline experience to our consumers, allowing them to explore our designs in person.”

The new Jewelbox store opened its doors to the public on February 17 and follows on from its recent brick-and-mortar debut in Chennai. The brand reported that 15% of its total online orders come from Bengaluru and was keen to tap into demand in the area with its launch. Inside the store, shoppers can browse a selection of both everyday and occasion style lab grown diamond jewellery and personalised consultations with shop staff are also available. 

Entrepreneurial siblings Vidita Kochar Jain and Nipun Kochar launched Jewelbox in May 2022 with the brand ethos of “conscious luxury.” The brand is expanding across India with an omni-channel approach and currently counts five stores in three cities with the plan to open an additional 20 boutiques by the end of the year.
