Jaypore launches third Hyderabad store

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited’s crafts based fashion and lifestyle brand Jaypore has opened its third brick-and-mortar store to date in Hyderabad. Located in Banjara Hills’ GVK One Mall, the store is Jaypore’s 26th in India to date.

“A haven for craft enthusiasts seeking artisanal experiences,” announced Jaypore on Facebook on June 4. “Explore the rich and diverse culture of India via its traditional crafts like kalamkari, ajrakh, soof embroidery, block-printing, and many more across apparel, jewellery, home, and accessories.”
 
The store is situated on the second floor of the mall and has an ornate façade featuring a large digital screen to mix heritage with technology. Inside the store, shoppers can browse a large segment dedicated to sarees with other ethnic wear for the summer season hanging on golden rails.

Puneet Chawla and Shilpa Sharma launched Jaypore as an online retail destination in 2012 and the brand opened its first brick-and-mortar store in 2018 in New Delhi. In 2019, Aditya Birla Group acquired the business and this year Jaypore made its debut in the US market.
