Children’s fashion runway event India Kids Fashion Week celebrated its tenth edition in Dubai in collaboration with design duo ‘Hue by Minal & Megha’. A total of 300 children took part in the event at the Crowne Plaza in Deira.
India Kids Fashion Week recently returned to Dubai for a runway show focused on summer fashions, the event organisers announced on Facebook. The event showcased Hue’s lightweight creations featuring playful details and more dressy silhouettes.
“At Hue, we continuously strive to do better by upcycling our outfits,” said designers Minal and Megha, Gulf News reported. “We focus on versatile clothing for everyone, infusing the vibrancy and aesthetics of our culture into the designs. We aim to make our clients stand out rather than fit in.”
India Kids Fashion Week also recently held a ‘Hyderabad Bootcamp’ to train aspiring child models as part of its eleventh season in India, the event organisers announced on Facebook. The Khushaali Institute of Fashion Designing partnered with India Kids Fashion Week to design for the occasion and offered a wide range of children’s fashions.
India Kids Fashion Week has seen 537 brands present their designs on the runway and reported over three lakh footfalls at its various editions. The event is designed to give children’s wear brands a platform from which to build brand awareness amongst their target audience of families and give children the opportunity to gain experience in the fashion industry.
