Hindustan Unilever‘s former executive director Pradeep Banerjee and celebrity endorsement agency Median’s founder Nabeel Kadri have launched ‘Hyue’ as a premium colour cosmetics brand focused on Indian consumer preferences.
“The beauty and personal care industry is evolving, but there’s still a gap when it comes to products that truly reflect the aspirations of today’s well-traveled, globally aware Indian audience,” said Hyue’s co-founder and CEO Pradeep Banerjee in a press release. “Hyue is a product-first brand, focused on offering world-class formulations that align with their lifestyle. We’re here to build a beauty brand that not only meets international standards but also resonates with modern Indian consumers who seek the best global formulations tailored to their needs.”
Hyue made its retail debut with a direct to customer e-commerce store to cater to shoppers pan-India. The brand’s maiden cosmetics collection features liquid lipsticks, gel nail paints, lip treatments, and lip oils and its products are all vegan and cruelty free, according to its new website.
“Hyue is designed for beauty enthusiasts who are fashion-forward, trend-conscious, and unafraid to make a statement,” said the brand’s co-founder and COO Nabeel Kadri. “Our approach is rooted in innovation, ensuring that every product we bring to market is aspirational yet accessible, lifestyle-oriented, and aligned with global beauty trends. Hyue is more than just cosmetics- it’s about delivering a beauty experience that complements the dynamic lives of today’s Indian consumer.”
