Clothing and lifestyle brand House of Masaba has expanded its wedding wear offering by launching a 100-piece collection for men and women. ‘The Masaba Bride 2024’ is inspired by ‘Purani Dilli’ and designed to create a ‘World of Masaba’ which caters to brides, grooms, and their families.
“House of Masaba has always been known to be a celebration of colour and culture,” said brand founder Masaba Gupta in a press release. “A brand that has travelled the whole of India in search of inspiration, from the most basic everyday things and turning them into wearable art. The Masaba Bride 2024 being our largest Bridal offering yet with over 100 pieces in the collection, is an ode to what I find to be one of the most inspirational places in this world – Purani Dilli. It is also where my mother grew up. And as a child I remember, absorbing everything from the thelawalas, the small but busy streets, tiny nooks, corners and colours. What inspired this collection is finding culture in the colours and chaos.”
The collection is the second edition of House of Masaba’s ‘Masaba Bride’ and offers a more comprehensive wardrobe offering this time. The collection focuses on textiles and embroidery, including techniques such as ‘baadla kaam’, ‘peeta kaam’, and ‘nakshi kaam’, to create richly textured and ornate looks in bold hues and classic shapes. Shoppers can browse the collection exclusively on House of Masaba’s e-commerce store and in its exclusive brand outlets.
“India can serve as a source of inspiration multiple times, and each time there is something different to discover, this time it’s Purani Dilli and everything that it holds,” said Gupta. “There is a wide range of colour and silhouette, for the bride, the groom, and their families there is a little of every piece of India in the whole collection.”
