Holly Willoughby has returned to TV screens after a three-month break.

The presenter, 42, who quit popular ITV daytime show This Morning in October after 14 years, reappeared on the channel on Sunday night to resume hosting Dancing On Ice.

Willoughby marked her return by welcoming Stephen Mulhern, 46, who has been appointed a fellow permanent presenter of the ice skating show.

She said: “To the greatest show on ice, and let’s hear it for the amazing cast of 2024. Let me just say a huge welcome to Stephen Mulhern.”

The pair first worked together 20 years ago, appearing on Saturday morning children’s show Ministry Of Mayhem.

The mother-of-three previously hosted both This Morning and Dancing On Ice with Phillip Schofield, until he left ITV last year after admitting to an “unwise but not illegal” relationship with a younger male colleague.

In a post on Instagram, the official This Morning account also posted: “So great to see @hollywilloughby back on our screens where she belongs. Good luck for tonight’s launch of @dancingonice – we’ll be watching!”
