Adventure gear and accessories brand Gokyo has launched its first store in Nashik as it continues to expand its brick-and-mortar footprint across India. The store is located on the city’s Rushiraj Avenue and opened its doors to the public on August 10.
“Gokyo is excited to announce the opening of its latest store in Nashik,” announced the brand in a press release. “The brand aims to provide adventurers with top-tier gear and apparel that reflect the spirit and resilience of the Himalayas.”
The store’s inauguration event was attended by the previous divisional commissioner of Nashik Radhakrishnaji Game and renowned senior trekker, blogger, and photographer Sanjayji Amrutkar. Inside the new outlet, shoppers can browse Gokyo’s Explorer, Alpine, and Sherpa collections for men and women, each one designed for different climatic conditions and expedition levels.
Gokyo launched its first brick-and-mortar store in Bengaluru and has gone on to open its flagship store in Mumbai. The brand’s products are also available inside outdoor stores across Maharashtra as well as locations including Noida, Srinagar, and Sikkim.
The brand’s name ‘Gokyo’ is inspired by the mountain in the Everest region named ‘Gokyo Ri’. Along with its physical stores, Gokyo also retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store.
