GJEPC’s ‘Jewellers for Hope’ raises funds with Kareena Kapoor Khan

The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council brought together the jewellery and diamond industry to raise funds for charity at its ninth edition of ‘Jewellers for Hope’. The event was backed by associate partners De Beers and the World Gold Council and featured Bollywood celebrity Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Powered by the Gemological Institute of America, the event featured a charity dinner from which the proceeds were donated to two NGOs: the Miam Charitable Trust and the Gem and Jewellery National Relief Foundation. To date, Jewellers for Hope has donated to 14 NGOs and raised multiple crore rupees.
 
“Jewellers for Hope is an annual event where GJEPC mobilises our entire industry to raise funds for organisations dedicated to education, health, women’s empowerment, and the welfare of marginalised communities,” said GJEPC chairman Vipul Shah. “Since its inception in 2014, Jewellers for Hope has contributed crores to NGOs, leaving a lasting impact on countless lives.”
