The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion council has brought 49 Indian jewellery businesses to Bahrain to connect with global industry players at Jewellery Arabia 2024 with an ‘India Pavilion.’
The India Pavilion features 97 booths spanning 909 square metres, the GJEPC reported on its website. Marking its 21st consecutive year of participation, the Indian delegation aims to highlight the craftsmanship available in the Indian market to global buyers and audiences alike.
Jewellery Arabia 2024 runs until November 30 and is free of charge to visitors, according to the event’s official website. The jewellery fair is located at Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir and also features loose gemstones.
The event’s sponsor is Bahrain Jewellery Centre and the event was inaugurated on Tuesday by Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the event announced on Facebook. Jewellery categories on display at the India Pavilion include diamond-studded jewellery, plain and studded gold jewellery, and loose gemstones among others.
This edition, Jewellery Arabia welcomes exhibiting jewellery business from across the globe with countries represented including Armenia, France, Germany, China, Greece, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Bahrain, Malaysia, Qatar, Lithuania, and Portugal among others. The event’s featured product categories include jewellery, fashion, and accessories and the event describes itself as “the year’s most anticipated jewellery event.”
