Fragrance brand Mocemsa plans to launch 10 new mainly domestic airport stores in the 2025 financial year and 50 new shop-in-shops across India. The perfume business is scaling up its operations in the country and is targeting Rs 500 crore in primary sales over the coming five years.
“We intend to open 50 more shop-in-shops with large format retailers and approximately 10 additional stores in domestic airports by the end of this fiscal year,” said Mocemsa’s partner Paarth Malhotra, India Retailing reported.
The New Delhi based business is also targeting between Rs 1,500 and Rs 2,000 crore in secondary sales over the next five years. Over the coming two months, Mocemsa plans to launch shop-in-shops across numerous Shoppers Stop department stores. The brand already retails on Shoppers Stop’s e-commerce store along with its own and other multi-brand platforms.
By opening stores in airports, the brand will be able to raise significant awareness due to the high levels of footfall passing through. Mocemsa aims to increase its customer base by around 10 times in the next two years.
Entrepreneurial brothers Paarth Malhotra and Pulkit Malhotra launched Mocemsa as a direct to customer brand in 2017. Mocemsa specialises in deodorants and perfumes for men and women and aims to offer premium products at affordable prices to reach a wide range of consumer demographics.
