Footwear brand Egoss acquires production unit in Agra to scale operations

Egoss, a leading Indian footwear brand has acquired a production unit in the city of Agra to increase the manufacturing capacity and fuel its expansion plans.

With this new production unit, Egoss plans to increase its manufacturing capacity to almost 3 million pairs from the current 1 million pairs a year.

The brand expects this acquisition to help it make deeper inroads in the footwear market by catering to a wider customer base.

Commenting on the expansion, Ravindra Bhatia, founder of Egoss in a statement said, “We envision a world where crafted footwear is synonymous with our brand. The proposed plan lets us reach that goal without compromising the intrinsic strengths built over the years.”

“We are quite positive that with enhanced production capacity, coupled with strategic market expansion and a commitment to innovation, along with strong belief in being environment-friendly, Egoss shall be synonymous with trust for generations to come,” he added.

Egoss operates three brands in footwear – Egoss, Lafattio, and Ladyboss by Egoss. It is available online and at over 2000 multi-brand outlets across India.
