Skincare brand Fixderma brought together over 100 women and a range of women’s health experts at DLF Magnolias in Gurgaon to explore often misunderstood health complaints and their possible solutions.
“It was truly inspiring to see so many women open up about their experiences and actively participate in the discussion,” said the brand’s co-founder and CEO Shaily Mehrotra in a press release. “At Fixderma, our goal is to not only provide effective skin solutions but also to empower women to make informed health related decisions.”
The event focused on health topics including hormonal imbalances, PCOD, PCOS, perimenopause, and menopause. Along with the emotional and physical aspects of hormone health, the event also looked into its dermatological impacts.
“Perimenopause and menopause bring about significant changes in a woman’s body, and it’s essential to recognise these signs early on,” said doctor Anjali Kumar. “Conditions like PCOS are also becoming more common due to poor lifestyle choices. Women need to prioritise their health and take care of themselves.”
Fixderma was launched in 2010 and today exports its skincare products to more than 40 countries globally. In 2024, the brand opened its first flagship store in Gurgaon and the label claims that it is trusted by over 15,000 dermatologists.
“Hormonal changes during menopause can cause dryness, thinning, and pigmentation issues,” said Deepti Dhillon at the event. “Incorporating hydrating serums with hyaluronic acid and moisturizers with ceramides and peptides can help maintain glowing, healthy skin.”
