“I’m looking at opening at least 10 franchises within the next one year in India,” said Farah Khan Ali in an interview with Indian Retailer Bureau. “As a brand, I think I come with a niche, offering designer jewellery at Indian pricing.”

Along with expanding offline, Farah Khan Fine Jewellery is also keen to keep expanding its online footprint, conscious that e-commerce is a big part of the lives of Indian millennials. The brand also harnesses collaborations to expand both its brand visibility and customer base.

“I have collaborated with one of India’s largest jewellery chains Tanishq for two years, where we co-branded and created jewellery for 40 different stores in 23 cities of India,” said Khan Ali. “That was a huge success. For me, collaborations are important because they help us get more visibility and tell the brand story.” The brand has also forged partnerships which extend beyond the world of jewellery with businesses including Stern Hagen, Magnum Ice Cream, and Carousel.

Farah Khan Fine Jewellery also recently dressed Bollywood celebrity Sudha Reddy for the Met Gala 2024 event in New York, US, the brand announced on Facebook. Reddy wore a necklace titled ‘Amore Eterno’ made from 25 solitaires at over 180 carats and four heart solitaires, one weighing 25 carats and the three others 20 carats each, inspired by the event’s theme ‘The Garden of Time’.
