Epic Group and Creative Group sign MoU for Indian apparel industry

Textile businesses Epic Group and Creative Group have signed a non binding memorandum of understanding to establish a new industrial venture with a potential investment of Rs 500 crore and aim to create significant employment opportunities in India’s textile sector. 

“We are thrilled to announce that a strategic joint venture aimed at transforming the Indian apparel business landscape is now underway,” announced Epic Group on Linkedin. “We are determined to set new industry benchmarks and drive innovation, delivering superior value to our customers and stakeholders in India. The businesses expect their venture to create employment opportunities for approximately 10,000 individuals, Apparel Resources reported. The partnership is also designed to ameliorate operational capabilities in the Indian textile industry.

Creative Group is a diversified textile conglomerate and was established in 1974, working in sectors including apparel, retail, home textiles, and polyester yarn among others. Set up in 2005, Epic Group is a textile trading business which counts facilities in global locations ranging from the US and UK to Asia and Africa among others.
