DoubleTwo partners with Bradford License India to explore new product categories

Menswear brand DoubleTwo has formed a partnership with Bradford License India to explore launching new product categories in the Indian market and expanding its retail footprint in the country.

“DoubleTwo exemplifies a legacy of excellence, seamlessly combining heritage craftsmanship with modern innovation,” said Franchise India Group’s chairman Gaurav Marya, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “This partnership opens doors to exciting opportunities in India’s thriving fashion and lifestyle sectors, perfectly aligning the brand’s storied past with the evolving aspirations of today’s consumers.”

The brand is pursuing licenses for numerous product categories including women’s apparel, children’s wear, accessories, inner wear, luggage, and footwear for men, women, and children among others. DoubleTwo also aims to pursue franchise expansion in India which will enable it to reach shoppers in new locations with minimal investment on its own side. 

“India’s vibrant and ever-evolving market presents a unique opportunity for DoubleTwo to establish a deeper connection with consumers,” said Double Two’s director Anand Annamalai. “With Bradford License India’s strong licensing acumen, we are excited to expand our footprint and bring our rich heritage to new categories that resonate with the modern Indian audience.”

DoubleTwo was established in the UK in 1940 and first entered the Indian market in 2018 when it opened an exclusive brand outlet in Bengaluru. The brand retails from its India direct to customer e-commerce store and counts brick-and-mortar stores in locations including Tirupati, Vijayawada, Guntur, Tumkur, Hosur, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Chennai among others, according to its website.
