French luxury fragrance and home décor brand Diptyque has opened its first exclusive brand outlet in India in New Delhi’s premium mall The Chanakya. The store opened its doors with a star studded event and retails a selection of perfumes, skincare, scented candles, and home goods.
A gaggle of New Delhi’s influencers and celebrities gathered at the Diptyque boutique to sample its scents and experience Parisian aesthetics in India. Marking Diptyque’s debut in South Asia, the store features a custom mosaic which reads “Diptyque à Delhi,” Indian Retailer Bureau reported.
“A touch of Paris graces Delhi; celebrating the grand opening of Diptyque’s first India store at The Chanakya, where luxury meets artistry in a truly enchanting space,” announced Stanley Communications on Facebook. “Stanley Communications was thrilled to bring this iconic launch to life with an exclusive guest list and impactful media amplification. Here’s to a beautiful beginning for Diptyque in India!”
The Diptyque store has a green façade and interior design which mixes classic French and Indian elements. Artworks hang on the walls and hand-painted friezes add a nostalgic feel while a large chandelier hangs from the ceiling.
The store is set across two rooms and has dedicated areas for fragrances and the brand’s skincare line. Designed to create an immersive shopping experience, the store is set up to evoke the feel of a Parisian apartment.
