Global non-profit organisation Diamonds Do Good will honour fine jewellery brand Tanishq and Shree Ramkrishna Exports’ founder and chairman Govind Dholakia at its 2025 awards ceremony, set to take place in June next year.
“Diamonds Do Good honours leaders who understand the vital connection between a successful business, social purpose, and community care,” said Diamonds Do Good’s president Kathy Corey, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council reported on its website. “These honourees exemplify values our organisation and the natural diamond industry hold dear. They inspire us with their vision and commitment.”
Diamonds Do Good will honour Tanishq as India’s largest purpose-driven jewellery retailer. The business is increasingly expanding into the US market as it sets its sights on the global retail sector. Govind Dholakia will be celebrated for his work as a pioneering leader in India’s diamond cutting industry through his business Shree Ramkrishna Exports, which also runs a number of sustainable initiatives.
The 2025 Diamonds Do Good Awards will take place on July 5 at the Venetian Hotel’s San Polo Ballroom in Las Vegas, US, Rapaport reported. The awards ceremony sold out tickets for its previous edition and aims to bring together entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders in the global diamond industry.
“These honourees champion values consumers increasingly seek, reminding us of the importance of business practices that make a meaningful difference in the world,” said Kathy Corey, Rapaport reported. The awards focus on businesses and individuals with a positive social impact and commitment to innovation.
