Fashion designer Narendra Kumar has collaborated with Puneet Bajaj, CEO of Shakti Brandz Pvt Ltd to launch a new fashion label ‘Ura Street’.
The new brand targeted at the Gen-Z and late-millennial audience will feature a wide range of items including jeans, cargo pants, joggers, jackets, sweatshirts, t-shirts, skirts along with accessories like caps and vests.
The brand draws inspiration from the ‘Urahara’ streetwear movement, which emerged in Tokyo’s Harajuku district in the early ’80s.
Commenting on the launch, Narendra Kumar, co-founder & creative director of Ura Street in a statement said, “With this launch, we proudly welcome four cutting-edge brands, each curated to resonate with and empower the distinct identities of Gen-Z’s tribes. Ura Street collections priced from Rs 1,899 ($22) onwards will be available at the brand’s website and marketplaces, such as Myntra, Ajio, Amazon among others.
