Premium watch business Daniel Wellington has launched an exclusive brand outlet in Bengaluru to connect with shoppers in South India. Located in the metro’s Phoenix Mall of Asia, the store also retails jewellery and gift items.

The store has an open façade divided in two by a large digital screen which shows Daniel Wellington’s latest designs and campaigns. The store’s interior is decorated in black and golden yellow hues and illuminated glass cabinets display the label’s selection of watches and jewellery, ranging from everyday to occasion style designs.
Filip Tysander launched Daniel Wellington in 2011, according to the brand’s website. The label designs its watches in Sweden and manufactures them in China and retails online through its global, direct to customer e-commerce store.
The brand takes its name from a British individual Tysander met on his travels named Daniel Wellington. Tysander noticed that Wellington wore vintage watches on old, weathered NATO straps and was inspired to create a similar line or watches himself.
