“We are heavily invested in Madhya Pradesh,” said Dabur India’s CEO Mohit Malhotra, the Press Trust of India reported. “Our largest investment in India happens to be in MP. We have around Rs 1,000 crore already invested here. We have been invested in this state for almost 50 years. Our experience with MP has been fantastic, with the previous regime, and we hope that going forward with the new chief minister will be fantastic.”

Malhotra spoke on the sidelines of the Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2025 which ran from February 24 to 25 in Bhopal. The eighth edition of the trade event brought together global leaders, industrialists, and industry experts “to share insights on emerging markets and trends, and to explore ways to leverage the investment potential of Madhya Pradesh,” Invest Madhya Pradesh announced on its website.

At present, Dabur undertakes between 25% and 30% of its total manufacturing activities in Madhya Pradesh, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. This includes product production, sourcing raw materials, and distribution.

Dabur specialises in personal care and beauty products which follow Ayurvedic inspired recipes and natural ingredients. To cater to growing Indian consumer demand for natural beauty products, the business plans to continue to focus on its clean beauty product selection while widening its customer base.
