Dabur India Q3 net profit rises 2 percent to Rs 522 crore

Consumer goods maker Dabur India Ltd reported a 2 percent increase in net profit to Rs 522 crore ($60.3 million) for the quarter ended December 2024, as against Rs 514 crore in the year ago quarter.

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 3 percent to Rs 3,355 crore, as against Rs 3,255 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Dabur’s consumer care business saw a 4 percent rise in revenue to Rs 2,850 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 2,715 crore in Q3 FY24.

The company’s international business reported strong constant currency growth of 19 percent during the third quarter led by Egypt, MENA, US and Bangladesh.

Commenting on the results, Mohit Malhotra, CEO of Dabur India Ltd in a statement said, “We focused on strengthening our competitive edge in the marketplace to gain market share in 95% of our portfolio and enhancing brand superiority to strengthen and consolidate our position in the categories where we operate.”

Our focus on premiumisation is also paying off, with our premium portfolio growing 2.5 to 3 times faster than our overall business in India. We intend to continue this journey and keep delivering products that exceed our consumers’ expectations,” Malhotra added.
