Fast moving consumer goods brand Cupid Limited reported a 96.22% year on year increase in net profits in the second quarter of the 2025 financial year. The business’ total income also increased by 29.73% during the quarter to total Rs 4,728.55 lakh.
“We are delighted to announce a good set of numbers for the quarter,” said Cupid Limited’s managing director Aditya Kumar Halwasiya, Indian Retail Bureau reported. “On the operational efficiency front, we have delivered great margins on a year on year quarterly basis, in spite of seeing an increase in depreciation and employee costs.”
Cupid Limited’s net profits totalled Rs 1,003.87 lakh compared to Rs 511.61 lakh in the second quarter of the 2024 financial year. The business’ earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation rose by 96.66% during the September quarter to Rs 1,027.94 lakh compared to Rs Rs 522.71 lakh a year ago.
For the first half of the 2025 financial year, Cupid Limited reported a total income of Rs 9,131.15 lakh compared to Rs 7,164.74 lakh in the first half of the 2024 fiscal year. The business has recently expanded its product and business to business offering with a focus on adding new fragrance goods such as eau de parfums and deodorants and launched a range of massage oils and almond hair oil.
Cupid Limited retails a wide range of products including body sprays, lubricants, and male and female condoms, according to its website. The business also operates an In Vitro Diagnostics unit which manufactures testing kits for a range of illnesses.
