Christian Louboutin and Coco Brandolini d’Adda launch limited-edition capsule collection

Christian Louboutin and fashion designer Coco Brandolini d’Adda have teamed up to launch a limited-edition capsule collection of women’s shoes, celebrating their friendship and shared passion for art. 

The collection features 25 unique designs, including flats, heels, and boots, created using fabrics from Brandolini d’Adda’s 2022 ready-to-wear collection, transforming surplus textiles into exclusive footwear designs.

With only 162 pairs available worldwide, the collection presents Louboutin’s classic silhouettes reimagined with these fabrics, debuting new styles like the Adadda and Adaddina Flat.

“It’s always a pleasure to create designs in a dialogue with a woman and especially with a friend,” Louboutin said. “We don’t really see life in black and white, we both believe freedom is key when you create. It was a very fun project to do together, and I think this collection is really ‘us,’ which you can see in the designs.”

Brandolini d’Adda, whose career spans over a decade at Alta Moda, is celebrated for her distinctive style and expertise in sourcing rare textiles. With her own Milan-based ready-to-wear line, d’AddA, she meticulously selects archival silks and vintage brocades to create unique collections that honor both the individuality of each garment and the women who wear them.

The exclusive capsule is available at Christian Louboutin’s Madison Avenue boutique in New York City and the d’AddA showroom in Milan.
