Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, and Camila Cabello perform in Elie Saab in gala Riyadh runway show

Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez and Camila Cabello were superstar attractions in Riyadh Wednesday night, when Elie Saab staged a gala runway show in the Saudi capital.
 
Entitled ‘The 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab’, the one-off event merged fashion with unforgettable live musical performances and a live dance display by Blanc Li in an extraordinary evening.

This show was part of the Riyadh Season official calendar, as well as being a celebration of the 45th anniversary of the Saab fashion house. Elie’s vision complemented by the styling of Carine Roitfeld, in a show jointly hosted by Turki Bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Alshaikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority and the Lebanese designer.
 
A unique display watched by more than one thousand and one guests, whose star-studded guest list included movie stars, models and influencers – Halle Berry, Monica Bellucci, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Poppy Delevingne, Kelly Rutherford, Hande Erçel, Youssra, Elissa, Nadine Njeim, Cyrine Abdel Nour, Sulafa Mimar, Jourdan Dunn, Adriana Lima, Alek Wek, Candice Swanepoel, Helena Christensen, Mariacarla Boscono, Eva Herzigova, Stella Maxwell, Chriselle Lim, Xenia Adonts.

All blessed by stunning performances by Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Camila Cabello and celebrated Middle Eastern artists Nancy Ajram & Amr Diab.

‘The 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab’ was broadcast live on MBC Channel and streamed across major fashion and lifestyle platforms, part of an intense drive by Saudi Arabia to position itself as a new hub for fashion and entertainment via Riyadh Season.
 
With more than 300 looks, the collection reinterpreted classic tales of 1001 nights through a modern lens. Blending Saab’s storytelling through fashion and reflecting his fusion of Arabian heritage, couture skills and contemporary innovation.
 
“My journey began amidst the turmoil of war in Beirut, where I built a world of beauty, carrying it with gratitude wherever opportunities led me. Saudi Arabia has always held a special place in my heart, being the first place outside Lebanon where I ventured, succeeded, and launched further into grander dreams and horizons,” Saab concluded.
