Celina Jaitly has been one of the most beautiful actresses in India. From a former beauty queen to acting in films like Thank You, Golmaal Returns, Tom Dick and Harry, No Entry and more. As she celebrates her birthday today, November 24, 2024, let’s revisit her old revelation where she shared her ‘unique genetic condition that made her conceive twins twice.

Celina Jaitly conceived twins twice, raising speculation among the masses that she might have gone for an IVF treatment where there are increased conceiving twins. However, the diva refused the statement and explained that her genetic trait causes the release of multiple eggs during ovulation. As a result, there is an increased chance of conceiving fraternal twins, which has odds as rare as one in 700,000

Though both of the actress’s pregnancies were natural, she faced some gestational diabetes, given the twin hormones, which was a serious issue. However, to ensure her and her kid’s health, she went on a strict diet and followed all the lifestyle restrictions. It affected her petite frame, and she even depth breathing and mobility issues. Yet, the actress did her best as a mother.

Jaitely and her husband faced a lot of emotional problems when her father passed away during her second pregnancy, causing her immense grief. Later, one of the twins, baby Shamsher, passed away due to a heart condition shortly after birth. Another twin, Arthur, was born premature and kept in NYC for three months during a tough time.

Despite all these challenges, Celina Jaitly has overcome them, and her family has played in the same. Presently, she is happily married to Austrian entrepreneur and hotelier Peter . They are parents to one set of twins, Winston and Viraaj, who were born in 2012. She also has a surviving son, Arthur, from her second set of twins.
