The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 12 percent to Rs 151 crore, as against Rs 135 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Commenting on the results, Vijay Bansal, chairman managing director of Cantabil Retail in a statement said, “We’re pleased to report strong growth in H1 FY25, with a 29.4 percent increase in volume despite challenging market conditions, such as a North India heatwave and extended monsoon. Our focus remains on customer convenience, market expansion, and enhancing the shopping experience.”

“With expectations of increased discretionary spending due to a strong monsoon, festive season, and the wedding season, Cantabil anticipates further demand growth. The company plans to continue its aggressive expansion strategy to reinforce its presence in India’s fashion apparel sector, capitalising on emerging market opportunities,” he added.

During the quarter, Cantabil expanded its national footprint by opening 23 new exclusive retail stores in taking its total to over 550 stores.
