Cantabil Retail plans to launch up to 80 apparel stores this year, opens outlet in Ranchi

Apparel and accessories retailer Cantabil Retail has launched a store in Ranchi’s Singhmore neighbourhood. The business plans to focus its investments on brick-and-mortar expansion and open between 70 and 80 new outlets in 2025. 

“Grand opening Cantabil store, Singhmore Ranchi: trendy and latest clothing styles and accessories for men and women,” announced Cantabil on Facebook, sharing images of the new store. “We give you the best in formal and casual wear. Let’s dive into fashion with exclusive offers, and giveaway goodies to the first 100 customers. Grab fabulous deals and offers.”

The Ranchi store caters to both men and women with a mix of formal and casual attire as well as accessories, inner wear, and personal care goods such as body sprays. The outlet launched with a number of promotional offers for shoppers including 50% off select products. 

Cantabil counts over 550 exclusive brand outlets in 20 Indian states. In order to facilitate its offline expansion this year, the business also plans to increase its manufacturing capabilities. 

“To drive same-store sales growth, we need to enhance our production capabilities in line with current market trends,” Cantabil Retail’s director Deepak Bansal told India Retailing. “A substantial portion of the investment will be directed towards increasing the existing capacity of our Bahadurgarh production facility… We are growing at a compound annual growth rate of 16% to 17% year-on-year and aim to first sustain this growth while striving to increase it to 18% to 20%.”
