Hair regrowth solutions business Calecim has launched in the Indian market to bring its stem cell technology based products and kits to the country, aiming to disrupt the hair care industry.
“We are proud to launch a brand like Calecim in India after several months of beta testing and seeing tangible results,” said Streamline Beauty India Private Limited’s CEO Aankith Aroraa in a press release. “We have witnessed how the brand has performed wonders internationally, and I am extremely confident that the launch of Calecim in India marks a milestone for the hair industry.”
Calecim’s ‘Advanced Hair System Kit’ is designed to promote healthier and stronger hair. The product uses the brand’s patented ‘PTT-6® technology’ to stimulate hair growth.
“Hair loss and hair thinning are extremely common problems that many of my clients face,” said stylist and salon educator Alfredo Lewis. “I’ve tried many things and fell short until I discovered the Calecim Advanced Hair System.”
Calecim was established in 2002 and its parent company is biotechnology business CellResearch Corporation, which is known for identifying stem cells in the umbilical cord lining over 20 years ago in 2004. Calecim uses this technology in its skin regeneration technology, which was first developed for chronic wound healing, in its products.
“The Calecim system stands out for its tailored approach to dormant follicles,” said UK based aesthetic practitioner Tapan Patel. “It targets specific areas of interrupted growth with remarkable precision.”
