Plus size clothing brand Big Hello has launched its 17th brick-and-mortar store in India to date in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The brand is also gearing up to launch a new store in Hyderabad at Kompally.
“We are delighted to launch our 17th store in Visakhapatnam for the plus sized individuals,” said Big Hello’s parent company Absolute Brands and Retail Private Limited’s founder Vishnu Prasad, India Retailing reported. “We have received an overwhelming response from our customers for catering to their clothing requirements in a fashionable way.”
The brand has ambitious retail expansion plans and aims to launch 50 new stores in a year’s time. With its main retail base in South India and Bengaluru, Big Hello also operates in Chennai, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Guntur.
Big Hello’s new Visakhapatnam store caters to both men and women and retails a mix of ethnic and western style plus size apparel for formal and casual occasions. Following the Visakhapatnam store launch, Big Hello next plans to bolster its offline presence in Hyderabad.
“Hello, Hyderabad, we’re celebrating every size and shape, everyday, across four convenient locations- and we have exciting news,” announced Big Hello on Facebook on October 8. “We’re extending our reach and adding one more location! We’re opening a brand new store in Kompally, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!”
