Big Hello expands presence into North India with first store in Lucknow

Big Hello, a specialty fashion brand for plus-sized people from Absolute Brands has expanded its retail presence with the opening of its first store in the city of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The store located at Phoenix United Mall will house clothing, accessories for plus-sized men and women.

The range includes shirts, t-shirts, trousers, jeans, chinos, shorts, blazers, kurtas, ethnic bottom-wear, and bandh galas. It will also house a range of accessories including belts, tummy tucker, scarves, ties, pocket squares, and suspenders.

Big Hello aims to open 50 new stores this financial year as part of its national retail expansion strategy.

Commenting on the expansion, Modita Tripathi, brand head at Absolute Brands in a statement said, “We are excited to choose Lucknow as the first city for our brand expansion in North India and introduce Big Hello’s innovative and inclusive collection of clothing and accessories to the city’s vibrant and fashion-savvy community.”

Big Hello has 20 retail stores in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Vijayawada, Guntur among other cities and also runs an e-commerce store. The brand is owned by Absolute Brands and Retail Private Limited (ABRPL), a fast-growing fashion retailing company founded by Vishnu Prasad.
