Multi-brand beauty business Glamzy has made its brick-and-mortar debut in South India by opening four stores in Mysuru. The business plans to expand across India with an omni-channel approach and cater to non-metro shoppers.
“Our vision is to establish 50 Glamzy stores across non-metro cities by the end of 2025,” said Glamzy’s co-founder Rahul Aggarwal, India Retailing reported. “This expansion is a step toward making high-quality beauty products accessible to a wider audience. We are excited to bring this vision to life.”
Glamzy retails a range of brands including Dot & Key, Nykaa, Plum, Cetaphil, Blend, Olay, Lakmé, and Lotus Herbals among others. In order to drive in-store footfall, Glamzy recently launched a new promotion offering free nail art for customers, enabling them to choose their own nail art designs, the business announced on Facebook.
“The overwhelming response in Mysuru has been inspiring,” said the brand’s co-founder Hariher Balasubramanian. “We aim to replicate this success across other cities, creating a one-stop destination for traditional beauty essentials and the latest trends.”
Glamzy aims to focus on underserved regions for its offline retail expansion while continuing to develop its shopping app to reach new customers online. The business will focus on non-metro areas for its stores and plans to launch an experience centre in the near future.
