Banana Club launches first Mumbai store in R City Mall

Menswear label Banana Club has expanded its brick-and-mortar presence in India with the launch of its first store in Mumbai. Situated on the first floor of R City Mall at Ghatkopar West, the outlet is the label’s 10th store pan-India.

“Banana Club has officially landed at R City Mall,” announced the shopping centre on Facebook. “Discover a premium range of menswear that blends style, sophistication, and trend-forward fashion, all in one place. Step in and elevate your wardrobe today!”

Banana Club’s co-founder Prashant Lalwani also announced the opening on LinkedIn, sharing images of the new, modern style space. “Super excited to announce the launch of Banana Club’s 10th store at R City Mall, Mumbai,” Lalwani wrote. “This milestone would not be possible without the love and support of our customers who have made Banana Club what it is today– and the incredible team that brings it all to life every day.”

The store houses a wide array of men’s casual western wear. With its expansion into Mumbai, Banana Club continues its work to strengthen its foothold in India’s menswear market and engage with its growing customer base. 

Founded in 2012 by Nilesh Bafna and Prashant Lalwani, Banana Club started as a small offline store in Bengaluru and has since grown into a direct-to-consumer menswear business. The label currently operates retail outlets in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, while also maintaining a presence on multi-brand marketplaces such as Myntra and Ajio.
