FMCG firm Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd reported a 12 percent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 36 crore ($43,11,907) for the fourth quarter ended March 2024, as against Rs 40 crore in the year-ago quarter.
The company’s revenue for the quarter was down 4 percent to Rs 240 crore, as against Rs 249 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Bajaj’s total expenses declined to Rs 208 crore in the fourth quarter from Rs 210 crore a year ago.
For the financial year ended March 31, 2024, the company’s net profit stood at Rs 155 crore while its revenue for the year was Rs 984 crore.
The company’s new product launches Bajaj pure coconut oil grew 31 percent and 36 percent for Q4 & FY24 respectively while its almond drops skin & hair care range registered a growth of 23 percent and 16 percent.
During the year, Bajaj witnessed business expansion with established partners like Reliance, Dmart, Flipkart, and Amazon, and has engaged with new clients, including Myntra, Meesho, Citymall, Nykaa, and Blinkit.
