Baazar Style Retail reported a 21 percent decline in net profit to Rs 30 crore ($3.6 million) for the third quarter ended December 2024, as against Rs 38 crore in the year ago quarter.
The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 24 percent to Rs 412 crore, as against Rs 333 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The company’s total expenses during the quarter rose by 29 percent year-on-year to Rs 3,721 crore.
“Demand landscape remains robust, and we are optimistic about the upcoming quarter. With the wedding season and Eid approaching, we anticipate a strong demand coming in Q4 FY25,” Bazaar Style Retail said in a statement.
During the quarter, the company added 15 new stores taking the total count to 199 as of December 31, 2024.
Baazar Style Retail is a value fashion retailer with a strong presence in the eastern states of West Bengal and Odisha.
